SID | Kaitou Neon (Neon the Phantom Thief)

Translation pending, romaji first! You'll find that some parts don't match the printed lyrics, that's because he sings different stuff in those parts.

Did this since a few people asked about it, plus it's short and easy anyway. Here you go!

This month's theme ------ "Vehicles"

I'm writing this in the middle of our tour.

Currently, we're done with Gifu, our first stop, and all the Kyuushuu shows that came after. Next we'll be going from Ehime to Osaka...... That's the point in time we're at. To sum this tour up, it's long. This feeling that the end is still not in sight is great. Because I love lives.

It's been a long time since we last had an album tour too. It's refreshing and very nice to get to keep playing new songs. Considering that, all our fans are really getting into our lives. I can really feel that "They're listening a lot to our album~".

By the time we welcome our tour final at Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyougi-jou Daiichi Taiikukan 2DAYS, I think we'll be able to show you an even more mature SID.

Alright, our theme this time is ''vehicles''. )

This month's theme ------ "Telephone"

It's starting to get hot. You guys aren't suffering from summer heat fatigue and stuff, are you? I'm fine.

I'm someone whose appetite decreases drastically in the summer, but that's when I find cold noodles delicious. I especially like hiyashi chuuka. Generally the kind from convenience stores. I'm particular about just one thing regarding how to eat it. Which is, "Dump mayonnaise on it!" That's all! (laughs)

A little while after this issue is published, SID will be going on our summer live tour. This tour is also one on the largest scale in our history. We're absolutely motivated. All the venues are halls that come with seats, but let's get the lives so fired up that you won't even feel that.

This month's theme ------ "Animals"

This is Mao, who got his belated Golden Week in the later half of May and refreshed both his body and mind.

Although it was a short period of 4 days, I was able to enjoy it fully with all my heart. I went back to my hometown Fukuoka, a journey into which I squeezed all the people I wanted to see, all the stuff I wanted to eat, and all the places I wanted to visit, so sleep deprivation continued (laughs).

What surprised me was how widely recognised SID had become all of a sudden. Wherever I went, people asked me for my autograph, it was a little embarrassing as I was often with my friends.

For me, I make the effort to be as kind as possible to fans who approach me. Especially since opportunities for us to meet in person are decreasing; even at lives, from the vantage points of the people sitting far away, we're about as small as peas. Since a personal encounter is hard to come by, for that moment at least, I want to erase the distance between us. Particularly because I think it also takes a fair bit of courage to approach me. Even if I were to run into artists I like, I'm not confident that I'll be able to approach them. Everyone reading this, if you happen to see me around, do approach me without any qualms.

This month's theme ------ "Puberty"

A report of our current status.

As I'm writing this now, the finale of our Spring tour has ended smoothly, and we're living relatively hectic lives in preparation for our new single "Uso"'s release day. Our activities are centered mainly on radio and TV recording sessions, also photoshoots and interviews for magazines, the same goes for this issue of PATi PATi as well.

Having carried out band activities for many long years, I've gotten used to photoshoots somehow, but I just can't get used to filming for TV. The scenes that make me painfully aware of my weaknesses aren't few either. But when I first stood upon the stage of a livehouse, I never once thought I'd grow to be able to sing unreservedly before an audience of over ten thousand people either.

I guess my experiences up to this point have naturally steered me towards change for the better. With that thought in mind, I'll do my best everyday. It's not like I was born a genius, rather than forcing myself to hurry and falling, I'll keep on walking slowly and firmly at my own pace, keeping an eye on where I tread.

This month's theme ------ "Lies"

We're right in the middle of our "Sakura Saku" tour.

Flying all around the country while battling pollen. The gradual release of details for our summer tour has also promptly started. How nice. A year riddled with lives. SID, the live band.

Several years ago, due to all sorts of overlapping factors, there were also years with extremely few lives. To be honest, stress built up, to the point of feeling like it'd burst forth, I wanted to stand onstage so badly I couldn't help myself. Perhaps those experiences were also for the sake of the "present".

No matter where we go, our fans' smiles ar in full bloom, we get to carry out live activities as much as we want. They convey their love via fan letters, and at the end, they laugh and cry together with us. A reality that feels like a lie. Of course, without drowning in this feeling of happiness, I'll go on singing with my all for each and every show from now on too. The things that SID wants to express most can be found at live venues, this is unmistakable, so I'd like those who haven't seen us to please make the trip.

This month's theme ------ "Admission to kindergarten, admission to school, a whole new world"

Time flows by fast doesn't it, we're already in this year's March. It's always been like this since the past, I've never once thought it's slow. Strange, isn't it. I keep thinking it's about time for me to get used to the passing of time, but I can't really do it. I'm sure I'll live out my whole life like this, thinking, "How fast......" Especially since time passes in the blink of an eye when you're having fun. Well, it means I'm enjoying my life at this point in time.

As for what we're up to lately, we're right in the middle of rehearsals. For the Spring tour. We're a band afterall, I have the most fun when we're making music. Today, I went with our stylist to make a preliminary inspection of our outfits. This time it's a formal style, like suits. I guess it's been a long while since we last had such formal outfits.

Come to think of it, I also get the feeling that the SID team is finally being finalised. Stylists, hairstylists, all our live staff...... Actually, at the beginning, the SID team had trouble settling down with fixed members. There was also a period of time when it kept changing. As we're a professional team, of course I consider technical aspects, a sense of style, and talent to be important as well. However, on the basis that we'll all have to get along, what I prize the most is the part about "what they're like as people". No matter how much it's supposed to be work, I'd dislike it afterall if we weren't a team that can get along happily as people. Maybe we've finally managed to create one. Mhm. I'm enjoying my days, they're fulfilling.

Whoever uploaded this cut out and joined the major SID parts, so it jumps right from the start of the Aqua Timez section to the end of the show. If anyone knows where to dl the full show, please point me in the right direction. 8| Anyway, during the Aqua Timez section, they talked about the way couples hold hands, which is why Megumi brought up the topic again at the end of the show.

Also, SID has never given away the meaning behind their band name. It's supposed to be a secret between the 4 of them, which they'll probably only share with us when they're breaking up.

Just because they all look so enthused. 8) The original video comes with ~*official*~ chinese subs, but I mostly did Jp→Eng.

The most classic one BD Pity they cut half of it like the others, though.

A place at home where you can calm down the most, or feel most at home?

M: The bath tub. When taking a long bath, I sing while soaking (laughs)
Y: The living room. I can't handle cramped places, so the living room's wideness calms me down.
A: On my bed. Because its the only spot in my room that's not overflowing with stuff (laughs)
S: The sofa. For these 2 days, I've been sleeping on the sofa (laughs)

This is one of my favourite MCs from the Sakura Saku Tour, so when I saw it included in the DVD, I HAD to sub it. Too bad they cut out the Diesel part though. orz
